How do i respond to thecourt regarding a summons for debt,i wish to stop the action & use a debt couns.?

i have 20 days and dont wish to pay a lawyer

it says to respond in writing to the court does this take a lawyer or will a written response stating my intentions do?

You may wish to use a debt counsellor, but it is your creditor's decision whether or not to accept any proposal. I would advise against going into the court without a lawyer, unless you REALLY know the law, a lawyer will save you more than they will cost.
