In this and in any other section on "yahooanswers", the "Best Answer" section is when you choose a Best Answer from one of your replies and you get 3 points for it.
If you're the one who gets chosen for the best reply when you responded to someone's "yahooanswers" question, you get 10 points.
So whether you get the best answer or you give a best answer, you get points either way.
