Well, from the information you've given, it sounds like a reasonable request. Maybe he's just having a bad day and is taking it out on you. Unfortunately he can do that, within the law, because he's your boss. Just for today, you might have to suck it up and hold out for that last hour.
Or you could go throw up on his shoes......

How often do you get sick and want to leave early? If it's a regular thing, then you have your answer. If you have never done this, never get in trouble at work or have never been reprimanded for poor work performance then your boss is a dick head; or you're sleeping with him.

gee, I have no idea .. I mean instead of working ya playing on yahoo answers .. I am so confused to why he wont let ya go home .. clearly ya in so much pain (sick) that u are able to sit threw the whole day till 4pm and then call it quits .. pls fool .. give me a break .. f88k sake is right!!
