Why would they? Banks loan money because they expect to be paid back. If your credit is bad, they can't feel very confident that will happen.

Good luck. Your best bet would be to go to a credit union, but some of them are picky. It also will depend on if you have any collateral.

try beneficial, or american general. it depends on how bad your credit is - if your scores are under 500 then you are probably out of luck. good luck!
