I work part-time at a popular food establishment (not revealing the name of it for privacy reasons) and earn about $6.50 an hour serving "whopper" of burgers to people. I want to make more money. I want to make at least enough to pay for a BMW. Oh yeah, I also want to pay off my $16,000 consumer debt. Any suggestions?

Give yourself a reality check. You'll never get rich by amassing debt and buying expensive things. The trend I'm observing these days is everyone wanting to be a millionaire yet fewer people doing the things that make a person even moderately prosperous. Don't be like that. You can figure out the answer for yourself if you just give it a little thought. And used beemers can be had for a few grand.

You will not become wealthy working at Burger King. Not unless you own the business perhaps. Yeah if you want a BMW and to pay off $16,000 of consumer debt you better get another job and QUICK!

The first answerer was correct. Get yourself a good college education and a degree in the area that you're interested in and then pursue employment in that field. Work hard and be smart and you'll get there.

To become wealthy you must get a decent education and then go to work. Make up your mind and it can be done.
