Work=Money
Mow lawns, walk dogs, or clean houses. If you can find a house to clean, you'll be able to make more than that $50 in just a day!

If you are 18+ you could donate plasma... I believe you can donate 2x week....
You could also babysit for someone.
If you are -18 to 18+ you could mow lawns, house-sit for someone, walk your neighbor's dogs, and maybe even give them a bath.
*I also agree w/ others who advised in cleaning someone's house.

Go stand by a gas station or a mall, and simple ask people for spare change. You gotta be careful in some places though cause assholes will call the cops. I made $300 in four days when I got left in New Mexico!!
