Does anyone know of an online calculator to estimate how expensive a house I can afford TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE TAX DEDUCTABILITY OF INTEREST PAYMENTS? It seems like all the calculators I've looked at leave this factor out. Thanks.

I am constantly getting charged overdraft fees from Wamu and would like to know what bank I can move to that I can get overdraft protection. According to wamu, I can't link an account that would cover the overages unless I sign up for their platinum banking which has a heft monthly fee and account minimums that are too high for me. Is there any bank that just makes it easy and lets you link a savings account to your checking account?

In the last two months or so I've finally reached the point where I can stop living paycheck to paycheck. I don't have much extra in the bank yet, but I'm at least at a point where I can pay the bills as they come in rather than waiting until my next payday. And the good thing is I don't see any reason why my position won't continue to improve every month.

So my question is what should I do now. Should I just focus on building up my bank account to the point where I have a 2-3 month cushion? Should I look at making bigger car payments? Should I start sticking money in a savings account or IRA?

I've always just managed to just get by going from paycheck to paycheck but between newly found financial discipline and a recent raise at work I'm able to myself actually having extra money each month and it feels good. I just don't know what to do next to further improve my situation.

Meanwhile,i am saddled with the problem of securing a trust worthy foriegn personality to help me transfer the money over to his country and into his possession pending my arrival to meet with him. Furthermore, you can contact the company for onfirmation and i will issue a letter of authorisation on your name, that will enable the security company to deal with you on my behalf. What if I had over $80,000 more in cash than the car itself was worth and I told them I wanted to pay for it all with all the money I have, that I want to spend it ALL on a car?

1) What would they think?

2) What would they say?

I would never do this, but I'm just wondering for the fun of it to just get some laughs.

I'm about to start working and I would love to know how some people budget and save their money. I don't plan on investing anytime soon so please don't give me tips on investing. I just need some tips on how I can save money and be able to pay off my bills. Thank you! =)
