I earn a very small paycheck and work very hard all week long and even pull overtime when I can. The problem is I have rent, car, insurance, and utilities. Sometimes, if it wasnt for my mother, I wouldn't eat. I have tried budgetting, but something always happens and pushes me right back to where i began. How do I overcome this?

Fed up of reading moans from people trying to escape bad credit. Errrr... like, get a life. Read something from a guy who went bankcrupt and wanted advice on buying a home abroad in his wifes name, presumably so his creditors wouldn't find out!! It makes you laugh, doesn't it? Is it only suckers like me that pay for everything I have? I do have sympathy with people trying to get back on the right track, but honestly a holiday home abroad!!! It's a bit about being a grown up isn't it? (Am awaiting the onslaught!).

in order for me to have a lower payment, interest, and down payment boyfriend is willing to put the loan in his name for a car, but the car is mine and i make the payments. I want to make a contract stating that if i default it is my responsibitly to pay costs, and that i make all payments for the car, the car is mine and will be insured under my name only, and along the lines, if in the future we were no longer together that when loan is paid for, the title must immediately be signed over to me, and if at different residence the car remains to be mine no matter what. and that to protect his credit, by making all payments. how can i get a contract on such terms or what not?

I'm specifically looking for information that pertains to Indiana & Ohio (he might have some account in Cincinnati). My grandfather's health is declining, and none of us (including our grandmother) have any inkling as to his financial history, records etc. We don't even know if he has a will. Short of getting a power of attorney, is there a way we can get this information? We just want to make sure he doesn't go into debt because of his declining health.
