I owe 2,500 from 10 years ago and now I'm 100% disabled and on a fixed income. They haven't responsed but do you think they should accept $500 on this old debt considering my condition?

I got nominated to go to this trip but the problem is that it is expensive. My parents are paying for most of it but they said that some money i make would be helpful. I just dont know how to raise that money other than babysitting......

a friend said that you can get a home and land and even a vechile , from a stock broker and pay them back in one easy payment, and it has nothing to do with your credit. how true is this, and is he just out of his mind???

I am writing on behalf of a friend..her father died some years a go leaving her mother with quite a few stocks and shares ..and other assests...and her father always told her she would be ok money wise when she was older...she got married last year and her mother gave her quite a lump sum of money...which she put into her bank account..in january this year her mother got short term memory loss...then the doctor decided she would be better off in a nursing home....now there asking her for all her mothers assets and everything..including her stocks and shares....which she as given to them...now she is wondering wether she will have to give them the money her mother gave her before she became ill.......

I have student loans that are not from the goverment they are from provate lenders like a bank can they be erased by filing for bankrupcy? If so does anyone know what the downside of bankrupcy are like do they take your car or granish andy wages or taxes?

How do bankrupcy laws work really like chapter 7 and 13? Can they erase student laon debt? How long does it stay on your cerdit report for I heard like 10 years which would not be good. Any help would be great!
