It depends. If the check is with a local bank/company address, it should go in the next day. If it is after 2pm it may be 2 days. Out of town checks can take up to 5 days.

If you deposit a check into your account, lets say today then your funds would be available right away, assuming the bank did not place a hold on it. Meaning the funds aren't available till that check you deposited clears the other bank. Make sense? other wise the money is in your account ready for you to spend.

It usually takes 5-7 business days.That all depends on your bank and whether or not it is an out of state check.If it is a government check(income tax,etc.) it will usually take a day or 2 to clear,but most banks will let you get money back from those right away as they are guaranteed funds.

That depends on where the check is from. Can be immediate, or can take up to 3 or 5 days, for the funds to be available to you.
