I don't think so. Unless, maybe, if all of the expenses you are wanting to file against are cosigned or in both of your names. If they are in both of your names, then you might beable to file together. Otherwise, just file seperately, but at the same time, it would be preactially the same, just seperate.

Def get ahold of a bankruptcy lawyer in your area, and a good one, don't skimp on this.. and start the filing process, but ask if you can do it together or seperate.. And only file if you really need to, they will be able to tell you if it is necessary or if a consolidation would be best

no, you have to be married to file together I'm pretty sure. Every state is a little diffrerent though. Bankruptsy is a long process nowadays. you have to have 2 certificates to complete the process to now, which can be done online. Your local lawyer will explain. DON'T file it without an attorney though. Cost me $600.00 down and $170.00 a month for 4 months to file chapter 7 a while back. Worth it though, clear yourself now.
