Legit lotteries will not send email regarding your winnings. In fact, lotteries don't even collect any information when you play. All you do is pay some money, get a ticket, and hope you win. Is there anywhere in that process that ask for your email address?

If you did win, why would anyone want to pay you money for winning it?? It makes no sense.

What you should do is delete the email. But if you want to have fun, reply back and ask questions or reply back and say he won $3 million dollars and tell him you need some money to released his winnings and he must mail the money in cash via FedEx. lol.
