You must be talking about Tom Vu - I remember seeing him on late-night TV about 15 years ago. Don't know what happened to him, but he was sure entertaining. And somebody out there must have bought into his cheesy promos - he was on for years.

If you think he was eventually arrested, you must surely have some idea as to who he was or how to reach him.

There is no such thing as "get rich quick." Rich people get rich the HONEST way and are to be studied, copied and learned-from.

Envy, on the other hand, is your own inner self telling you that you'll never have what they have, based on your assessment of who you know yourself to be as a person. It says, "tear down someone who does have it, since it makes me uncomfortable to see that they have it and I do not."

You get rich by applying proven principles of how the universe works. Rich does not happen "quick." Anyone with lasting, genuine riches, such as Robert T. Kiyosaki, who wrote the book, Rich Dad Poor Dad in 1997, along with inventing the board games Cashflow 101 and Cashflow 202, which, incidentally, have been translated into several additional languages all over the world, and numerous follow-on books, such as The Cashflow Quadrant, and Rich Dad's Guide To Real Estate Investing; got where they are by incredible amounts of hard work over a long period of time, and by becoming a person of flawless character, and by pursuing a life's dream with every ounce of energy they had. Robert Kiyosaki's vision and his phenomenal passion for educating people, can be accessed via http://www.richdad.com.
