What you do in that case is take the job, say to the girlfriend, "Will you marry me?" and live happily ever after. If you're making twice as much you should be able to support her whether she works or not.

Can you live comfortably on what you make now? If you are not willing to marry her and take her with you, you have to provide for yourself first. If you can live on your current income, the question becomes "Which is worth more to you?" The possible answers are 1) The additional income. OR 2)Living near your current girlfriend. We are not qualified to answer.
