The lightspeed panel is a good one. You get good points towards cash, gift cards, prizes. Not all are great though but this one is my favorite!!

Ciao is about the only one that actually offers cash in the UK. All the others offer points which you can exchange for really crappy stuff. I joined a load of these surveys 3 months ago and to put it into perspective I have earnt £6.80 from Ciao and enough points to get a credit card holder. There is no real money to be made whatever anyone says. Half of them you answer questions for 10 minutes, they get a load of basic information regarding the product/service and then they tell you that you do not qualify.

I am a skeptic when it comes to paid surveys and 'get paid to complete offer' sites, but honestly many of them are legit and have enabled me to generate a great amount of extra money. On one site, you can find actual photos of checks people have gotten from the site. On my favorite site that I use, the total payment cashout reached six figures ($100,000) for the month of May!! The most important thing is to never get discouraged if you start out slow. Those $1-$5 surveys will add up over time, and doing them from more than one site at a time really increases your income. My first week using three of these survey sites, combined, I made over $60 dollars, so they really do pay. Yahoo doesn't allow me to post the actual links like I used to, but if you want them, just email me and I'll get them to you ASAP! Have fun!

PS: The survey panel thats hard to get onto is Pinecone Research because you have to find a flashing banner and click it to get to the sign up form, but if you can manage that, you get $5 per survey. Anyway ask me about those links to the websites. They are free and easy to get started.

Mostly scams*, or pay pennies ...

Come on, do you REALLY think Companies would waste their money paying "unknown web users**" to enter random responses to their Surveys ?

* the scams ask for your Bank details, NI Number, date of birth, mothers maiden name, fathers first name, your first school, favourite colour and name of your pet ... if you think these sound like the security questions asked by your Bank, you are right (the clever ones ask as part of a number of 'surveys' ... )

** On the web, you can be anyone you like ..in some 3rd world countries they have warehouses full of kids with PC's that they will hire out to generate any sort of spam you like .... as the average con-merchant and scam artist knows only too well ...

You want to make money answering surveys ? why not hire a few thousand kids to answer questions all day every day ???

I do pretty good with Harris Polls. It takes a while to build up points, but the merchandise I have gotten is brand name stuff and good quality.
