the unclaimed cash says that i have unclaimed money waiting but i need to know if thats true

If it is an official government site, be certain you don't have any outstanding warrants before "making your claim"...
Recently a (highly entertaining) sting was pulled where folks with warrants were listed as having won giant TVs....when they went to pick up their "prize" they were promptly cuffed & hauled off to jail. LOL!

If it is a government site, then it might be true. However a commercial site that will charge you, it is a gimmick. If it is a government site, there should be some way for you to handle the transaction in person or possibly via the mail(if it is long distance).
Also be very careful and look at the URL of the website and confirm that it is an actual government site, rather than a ripped off site that is impersonating an official site.

states have legit sites that allow you to enter info to see if you have any cash waiting for you. it is free. don't pay anybody to do it for you and make sure it is a governement site. I collected unclaimed funds from ohio and it was easy.
