I accumulated quite a bit of revolving debt that I am paying off now. I have not used any of these account now in a while as I am paying them off. Once I get them to $0 balance I plan on kepeing them open a I will use them again but there may be quite a gap in usage. I know inactive accounts can end up hurting you as the issuer may stop reporting but how long does this typically take? and is it better to close these account or keep them open? Also a few of my cards have credit balance increases available. I dont plan on using the additional credit so will it be good to take advantage of these as it will make a bigger gap between my used and available credit?

I know that the face need to match the person, and the name on the credit card needs to match the name on the ID. Is that it? Or do I need to check anything else?

I'm simply disgusted. Here in Italy it seems that even if you've got the qualification, experience and skills for a job you won't get it unless you know somebody who will help you get it.It has always been like that and that's why there are so many incompetent employees who work in places they're not suitable for.Is it better and fairer in the USA?I guess so!

i know there are sites that offer this but they all want you put in your credit card info and then you can cancel it if you don't want it but i wondered if there are sites that don't ask for payment at all.

I'm sure I read in the newspaper there is a website you can go to to find out if you can redeem any of the extortianate bank charges that have been unfairly added to your account. Unfortunately, I lost the article. Can anyone help?

In the decree he was awared the house. I just simply couldn't afford it...neither can he. I had NO idea this could happen or else would have requested we sell the house instead of letting him keep it. He intentionally fell behind 4-6 months on payments to qualify for a "Hardship Loan" on his 401K and not be penalized a % so this was the first Bomb Shell that hit my credit and made me aware of the situation (after the fact of course) no he consistently is behind 2 or more months. I can't so much as get a store credit card. In order to have my name removed from the loan he has to refinance - which he is unable to qualify for - or sell it - which he refuses to do. I can't afford an attorney to try and force a sale and seek damages so I am lost and furious! This is completely ridiculous! Has anyone ever delt with this before?

For the first time in my life I received notice that I have not paid a bill from a phone company back in 2003. This apparently happened in the process of moving from a home to another-some mail problem I guess. I always paid my bills on time and have an immaculate credit score, I am very worried how this will affect my credit. The collection office is closed today and the statement says I have to contact them within 30 days. I will mail the check Monday ASAP, what are the consequences?

When I was in college, I signed up for a credit card and added my mom as an authorized individual. I am the primary account owner and I was wondering if there is anyway to remove my mother from the account without having to close the account and open up a new one?
