My friends are all getting approved for monthly PITI payments that are 40-50% of their gross monthly income. They had 10-20% down payments. Do lenders care less about your debt-to-income as your down payment increases?

I am with a credit repair company and they pulled my credit 3 months ago and had a bill for $300 on there. I know they probably disputed it and recently when I seen my cedit report it was not on there. Is it gone for good or did it no just show up that time.

I can't seem to find anywhere to get my credit score online. I'm aware that in the states your allowed one report from each of the major credit companies per year for free. Does this apply to Canada? What are the companies called in Canada? How do you get it online?

I worked in the USA and obtained the credit card while in the USA. I now live in Canada and have a Canadian credit card as well. I had planned to cancel the American card but the bank does not mind that I live in Canada so my husband wants to keep the card and use it when we travel to the USA. I wonder if this is wise or foolish.

a credit limit of $750.00. I also have the premiers and orchards but one of better offer as my last. If you have the same credit problem and have gotten a good high credit limit with low payment, could you give me the www.bank to fill out for an application for that credit card instead of waiting for a deal to come in the mail. No Prepaid Please. Thank you!

i would like to get a credit card solely for emergency purposes. But i dont want to pay a monthly fee if i dont use it. I am 18 and dont have enough credit to go with another credit card company. Capital one sent me an offer. I would like to know if they charge a minimum fee, because the only time i want to pay anything is when i use the card. Does anyone know if their are a minimum fee?? or a monthly fee??

My wife and I applied for an auto loan. We can borrow traditionally from a bank @ 9% or can go thru a family trust @ 7%...which makes sense because we can borrow more cheaply and pay the family more than they can fetch in today's current interest rate environment (it would save a couple thousand dollars over the term of the loan).

However...we want to buy a house in a few years so WILL A BANK LOAN REPAYMENT OUTWEIGH THE LOWER INTEREST COST WE CAN RECIEVE NOW, meaning will this enable us to borrow at a lower cost when it comes mortage time.

Thanks

I am new to this whole credit thing. So I have a couple of questions.

1. I have a about 13 or 14 inquires on my credit report because I had to apply for school loans and credit cards. I was able to get 3 small loans and two credit cards. How will this effect my score?

2. I paid my credit cards balances in full for nearly 5 months, but one month i could only pay the minimum payment will this hurt my score?

3. My credit scores are 689, 698, 715 is this good or bad?

4. I have a couple months left until next school year, and i will have to apply for more loans, (pharmacy student) will i have better luck now that i have some credit history?

5. I know this is a lot but i would really appreciate the help. And I would appreciate any tips on credit, credit scores, and getting the best score possible.
Note: I have been very responsible with my credit cards except one month when i could only make the minimum. So please no lectures on the evils of credit cards

I'm currently disputing a few negativie items on my credit report. My question is this: Do i have to send one letter for "each" negative item dispute along with a copy of my credit report, even if I disputing the items with the same credit bureau? Because if that is the case, I would have to print alot since credit reports contains many pages. Or, can I just simply "list" all the negative items that I'm disputing, in one letter with one copy of my credit report (with highlighted dispute items)?

It has the bank name that I use but in a city different than my local bank. And it also has my maiden name on it. Does this mean the creditor will take all my money? Or only other money that is deposited and not from my job? Does this mean my bank account is frozen or can I use the money that is from my job to pay my bills?
I need to file bankruptcy, but want to know how much time I have... Do I need to file immediately or can I wait a couple weeks (when I get all the paperwork together)?? I read somewhere that I have 14 days to file an Objection stating I've filed bankruptcy so that the creditor doesn't garnish the property or cash or wages.
Anyone, please advise.

I bought some collectibles from a guy in Peru through Paypal. It appears he is a scammer and am not going to receive anything. How do you get Visa to perform a chargeback on the purchase when your card is a debit card issued by your bank, yet bears the Visa logo? Do you call your bank or Visa?
