Major credit card issuers like Discover, American Express and Chase offer a credit card for bad credit holders. A 'shopping' card offers you an unsecured line of credit from specific sellers. Use these cards to increase your credit rating, since the credit bureaus will be informed about your timely payments.

Take care to ensure your credit is good by making intelligent credit choices. Keep low balances, do not be extravagant and take care to pay off your balances promptly every month.

When choosing a credit card for bad credit holders take care to see that the lender does not levy exorbitant charges. Unscrupulous issuers can charge a program fee, an account set up fee, and an annual card fee etc. Authentic companies ask only for an annual fee and very little.

You spent a short time tearing down your credit and now you will spend a long time building it back up again, We had to go a Chapter 7 due to things beyond our control, the company I worked for went out of business an d by wife fell and is now an invalid. It took me over 4 years to build up a good credit rating went from 580 to 739 now I get credit app's from all over, got 3 more to day. I have 3 credit cards and that is all I need. I don't charge more on any card that I can't pay off in 2 payments. My first card had a $600 limit, fine with me, my second card was $2500 limit, I was shocked, my third card was for $1750. If you have the extra cash you might look into a "secured" card where you put up the cash first and draw against it. Nobody has to know what is going on. As I remember you can keep putting money back on the card the same as if you were making payments, something you might look into.

all do with respect. nooooooo chance in H@#% if you credit is bad. but, what you can do is get a bank card witha visa logo. also, get a copy of your credit report and dispute everything. if your creditor don t answer the dispute with 30 days by law it must come off. and if they place the information on another credit agency file , make a copy of the first deleted filed account and give it to the other agencies. they must by law take it off because it has been disputed.

one more last thing.......stop applying for credit. give it at least 6months before you try again. if not you will lower score evertime you apply.

Bad credit is one of the worst problems to have... however there exists a solution.

I will hereby talk from my personal experience.

I did debt consolidation a couple of years ago, however If I had to do it again I would pay to some minor details,
if someone wants to get out of debt today it is pretty easy with a debt consolidation plan, however it may get a bit tricky at times, I suggest you get as much information as possible online on this first,

a good place to start in my humble opinion is astraight to the point ebook with question and answer I found :

The company I'm most familiar with that helps find financing for people with bad credit is:

Even with your bad credit, they can get you a credit card or a line of credit up to $10,000.

Good luck - I hope you have a fantastic time abroad this summer!

Yes, but typically those are the cards that have a monthly or annual fee, maintenance costs, and high interest.
