Ok, I went over to gamestop today and brought a game using my debit card. However, I think the guy there spotted my pin number when I typed it down since he didn't turn the other way at all. Just wondering, let say if he got my PIN number, is there any chance that he will have access to my money in the bank ?

Hi,
I recently looked over my credit report, and i see i have alot of "Hard" inquiries. I am aware that these knock down a score, but as time passes, and they disappear (as experian says they remain on there til a certain date) Will my credit score go up?

Me and my husband where going to file ch. 7 Bankruptcy, but decided not to. We are able to pay most of our debts, but it will take one by one, some will take a month or longer to try and pay. With the BIG debts we are going to see if they will settle so we can get it paid off faster. Is it best to do it this way or should we do a debt consolodation, b/c w/that I know It will not show up on your credit report paid until the CCCS gets all their money in full. Which could take years. And we need to get a house asap.

The agents have made contact with me regarding the debt and suggested a ,make an offer to settle this debt. The co provided a websight that I could use to make the settlement offer to them, however this sight does not pop up when tryed. What could I do ? They have other ways for contacting them, I do not wish to talk on the phone or return the fill in the spaces letter. Websight is best . What could I do ?Besides I would need help in making such a deal anyway, I'am not the best at making deals for debts I'am not sure I owe. Help

I found out today I'm being sued by an old credit card company for a debt that was actually my ex-husbands. Doesn't matter though because only my name was on the account so it is my problem. The account was opened in 1998. The creditor is seeking a judgment against me, I do not have the money to pay, it was not my debt, I am on unemployment and am a full time student. Obviously I cannot afford an attorney to help me deal with this and I have no idea what to do. Any toughts? Suggestions?

I own my house and am current and have never been late with payments . I have a fairly new car that should not require replacement any time soon. I have some accounts that are charged off and some open accounts. My job is stable and extra cash flow is great. I'm paying off about 1k per month. Although I know its wrong, I was thinking I should just stop paying and put the money into savings, since I won't need credit in the near future. My score is horible right now anyway. I could really stock some good savings away and I wouldn't miss the cash flow since it is already going to cc's. I have one card with a pretty high limit that I could keep open and it is currently in good standing.

Hey guys I know this might sound like a stupid question but I'm only 15 so I'm kind of new to this whole credit card thing.

I have a check card and I plan on ordering an MP3 player online for a set amount of money. However, I'm not sure if I have that much money in the account because I haven't used it in a while.

So my question is if I accidentally overcharge it by $15 or so, what will happen?

to put it simple, they overcharged me. I was on vacation and my phone bill was 90$ for 2 months (I wasn't even in my home during that time, asked themto send me phone logs twice, they didn't, I cancelled the account) This was in sept 2006, now I saw it show up on my collections, showing up as 4 inquiries!! destorying my credit score!. Now the home loan I had has been cancelled, and I can't cloose till my credit score goes back up!, Closing date was last wk!. This inquirey just showed up this month!. So I called verizon and they said pay 108$ and we will send a request to remove it as soon as we are paid. I did at a checks cashing place, and they will recieve it either fri or mon. I called on fri, they said give us the confrmation # that you paid on your receipt, so I did. The guy said they will recieve it on monday. He also said he wasn't going to remove it from the credit report, only going to changed the status to PAID!!!!. HOW can this be, I was told that it was going to be removeD!

Right now, I only have 1 credit card. Other than my cell and car bills, I don't have too much established. A friend of mine has several credit cards but my mom says too many will look bad on your credit. What is a good amount to have to help build my credit without going overboard?

2007-03-24 12:49:20 · 4 answers · asked by Anonymous

i found out my credit score and it's not very good. someone said if you get a secure loan or credit card you can build better credit that way. i don't want to keep applying for credit cards when i'm just going to be denied, i know it takes points off your score everytime you do that. i don't have any credit cards now so i really have no way to make the score better.

I got a phone call today from my credit card company verifying some charges.....they weren't mine!!! I feel so awful. Like someone out there knows my information. How in the world did this happen to me? I know fraud charges happen everyday, but what do I do from here? Obviously, I cancelled the card and I'm getting a whole new account number, but just knowing that someone out there could possibly know more than just my credit card number makes me cringe. I want to have this investigated by the police. Would you want to know who did this to you?????
