I am debating between a personal loan at a much lower interest rate or transferring the balance to a new card @ O% apr. I am overly certain that I could pay the balance before the 0% period is over. The transfer fee seems worth it since it is less that one month's interest charge. So my question is which will hurt my credit less?

I was thinking of switching banks but I remember reading, on a couple of credit application forms a few years ago, that there were questions asking how long you had been with your bank for. Why do they ask this?

I had an outstanding balance of RM 2000 and I already settled it.I was even been given RELEASE LETTER for fully settling he amount, but now I am facing problem with banks as they are telling me, that my name is still under black list. Why does this happen? Once if some one has settled then automatically his blacklist data should be corrected immideately. Why does this happen? Cant any of my fellow Malaysians voice this out? This is crazy.

My mother is in assisted living. She gets about 900 dollors a month in SS benifits.
I pay 600 dollors a month addition to this. Can I claim my mother as a dependant.
I have done some research on this, and the way I see it,is yes because it is more than half of what she gets in SS benifits.
Am I right about this?

And Second how do I contact law enforcement regarding my mother's illegal tactics? Can she face any punishments for this?

I have a few pass collections, and according to my credit report, they're suppose to drop within the next couple of years... if another agency bought the account, do the 7 years start when they buy it? Should I contact any of the pass account collection agency's to settle the debt? Please advise, I had bad money management problems in the past and have been working on cleaning up my credit and my score is actually going up since I've been keeping up with my current open accounts... Thanks.

I have two credit cards, of which I am the only holder and the individual responsible for making payments. I also have two credit cards which are held by each of my parents, on which I am considered an "authorized user." On those accounts, my parents each have one card in their name, and I have a second card, but it is an individual (not a joint) account in my parent's name (my name is only on the cards). On my credit report, my cards show, as well as each of my parents cards, where I'm listed as an "authorized user." My question is, will my personal cards, of which I am the only user and there are no other cardholders, show on my parent's credit report? Or are they exclusively on my credit report? Thanks!
