I have a no credit history, I've applied for cards to get things going but have been refused because I have no history. It's frustrating. What do I do now?

I thought if you pay something off it will still stay unless you ask the company in writing to remove it. I also thought that some companies can say no and soem will say yes. Also this takes some time to happen. Is this all true or some parts of it? Let me know!

A few months back I got someone to be a cosigner for my new car, but my girlfriend and friends are high maintenance and I don’t have the extra money for the car’s monthly payments and I stopped paying; of course the cosigner is making the payments every month not to damage his/her credit history. Because he/she is in the title and registration of the car he/she is threating me with a lawyer to take the car away , but I do not believe it and my friends either, they told me I am untouchable and I want to keep the car and I want the cosigner to keep making the payments. How can I make it last?

Ok, my husband and I was d/c out of bankruptcy in Jan 07, we have only 1 credit card each that we just got and paid our first payment(we paid more than the minimum). We just got our credit scores from Experian and both scores are about 550. We don't want to get too much credit and over extend ourselves. We have a free&clear car, an apt, and I have a couple of student loans in deferment. So, we want a house in Fall of 2008, how do we get our score up in six months??? I'd like to see our score up to 650? Is that too much in a 6 mos period???

We are way behind on a vcredit card company(about $17000) due to medical bills and to living expenses while I was ill. After ignoring them for awhile And thinking of going bankrupt, I have a chance to do part time work while I am disabled. I could give them probably $225 a month for 7 years I figure without hurting our budget. Do you think they would go for it?

I have an offset, overpay already. Thinking about a foreign mortgage, say American which have lower interest rates, but unsure on exchange rates, and how to apply.

My mortgage is with Countrywide - we've had two years of major setbacks (company folding, 2 layoffs, illness, 3 slab leaks, major foundation shifting, theft of automobile (without theft protection insurance). I tried to make partial mortgage payments, but Countrywide would not accept - sent the checks back. I talked to them on a regular basis and said we were looking for work. I finally got a job and sent a payment to them with the understanding that I would start making payments once I found work and we would work out a forebearance agreement for the rest of the back payments. My first check to them crossed in the mail the notice from their lawyers that we were in foreclosure. And, true to form, they sent back my check. They gave me one week to come up with the total back payments or I was out of luck. So, now I'm looking at paying a company like Fresh Start Programs, where I give them $1200.00 and they negotiate with Countrywide. Does anyone have any info on these companies?

Any advise on how to remove credit inquiries from my report??? I have been cleaning up my credit report but it's still showing alot of inquiries and was told this could significantly lower my score, however, I don't know how to dispute them. Any advise? Thanks in advance

I have disputed my credit report and had many/most negative items removed. I have many accounts in good standing, onlly a couple of collection items, but they're over 2 years old. I mean, I've had like 10 things deleted from my credit I have 21 accounts 'in good standing' and only like 4 delinquent accounts (over 4 years old). Why isn't my score going up at all????? What am I doing wrong?? I have paid all of my bills on time for the past 2 1/2 years yet still my credit will not raise.

I am wondering how to pay off a remaining sum on my CC
I pay it off each month but end up always surpassing the limit on my credit card. I want to be able to pay it completely off.
I can't imagine setting aside a 100 a month due to the fact that I am constantly paying off the remainder of what I owe.
thanks for reading my question.

Do I cancel the card outright and set up a payment plan for the relative at a fixed rate with the card company, or transfer the debt ($8000) to me and have him pay me?

I have an active account with Conn's. If I am late on a payment, they contact me while I'm at work 4 or 5 times on that week. I have already sent 2 certified letters asking them to quit contacting me there and my boss has even told them to stop calling there. They still call. Does anyone know how I can get them to stop?

Some credit card company's have something called credit protector. It seems too high of a price to pay, since it costs as much as .89 cents on a dollar that you owe. However, if you have it, how advantageous has it proved to be for you to have?

I had a Truck Repo'ed and someone was telling me if I don't pay the bill for 7 years it goes off my credit and I don't have to pay it, ALSO he told me that they can't take it out of my pay check.
So yeah, I know this is not okay, but I would like to know if this is true.

I have contacted the "big 3" on the internet but they want you to "try" one of their services. I thought we could request and receive a "free" credit report.

I was seeing a man 19 years older then me (I was 20) for two years. Over the course of that time, I loaned him huge amounts of money. I have over $900.00 in cleared checks from the bank that I had written him. He had been separated from his wife and going through a bad divorce and needed money, plus he was way behind on his bills. I took out a $15,000.00 student loan and gave it to him in cash. 4 months after I gave him the money, I caught him with another woman. He goes to church and has everyone fooled. Should I pay the student loan for the next 25 years of my life while he's living high on the hog? Or should I do something about it? I don't know what to do because I definately can't afford to pay the loan. I don't have any written proof that I gave it to him because he made me give it to him in cash. What on earth am I going to do???
