Hi,

I have an online business and recently a customer claimed Non-Authorized use of thier credit card. We have thier signature on 2 documents but PP says it could take 75 days with no gaurantee either way. If they get away with this, can we go to collection agency. If so, is there a chance they could use us for turning them into the collection agency?

Ok folks..the last time I used my Sears (store only) card was to buy tires about 4 years ago. I didn't know they merged with CitiCorp and now have a Sears Mastercard. My account was inactive since I only use it for tires.

Suddenly I get a bill for 'account care' which I never had. Got that straight. Then a bill for $16 so I went ahead a paid it. They sent me a gold Mastercard which I didn't want and I have NOT activated it. Now a bill for late fees. This is ridiculous.

I know, I need to call them (once again) and be transferred to fifty different people. I will do that but I was wondering if anyone else has run into this problem. God, I hate money.

I reserved and paid for my e-ticket on air company's website, entered my credit card details there, got a confirmation email that my credit card has been debited, the ticket confirmed and that everything was alright...

However, it's been 10 days since then and I haven't noticed any changes on my bank account. If I was really debited then, shouldn't the transaction be visible somewhere? Is it possible that my ticket got issued without getting billed?

I repeat, when I enter my booking code there, it displays my flight details and says that everything is confirmed.

Thanks for the answers

Did you know that the government knew this would happen, and created little know legislation, to bail you out of the KaKa in 60 months ...just call FinancialDunce Credit services..where we'll snigger at your misfortune and take a raking off the top of your money worries.

I have an outstanding balance of around $6000 in credit cards with a high APR. If I do I balance transfer for a specific credit card with 0% APR for one year, I will obviouly save money. However, can I keep doing this every year to avoid paying interest? Somehow this sounds too good to be true. Also, what is a good card that I can transfer balance to that has 0% APR for one year and good rewards (whatever incentive).

I'm 18 and have had a credit card since i was 16. To my luck i got one, I grew up in a shitty neighborhood with little money in my home. Anyway, I have owed my credit company for a lil bit now, money that i cant really pay off all at once. I owe under $500 & about every month drop $20 or $30bucks when i have it. Can anyone tell me if my credit could be bad because of this? And also if I one day drop in and pay off 100% whats due will this bring my credit back to perfect? PLEASE HELP!

I want to buy something for 400 dollars I only have deposited 100 dollars in the bank, if I made that purchase and I only got $100 in the bank, could I still make that purchase? They would send me a bill? Or I'm unable to make the purchase because I don't have enough funds deposited at my bank. Sorry but I'm just a NOOB. I tried to put this in as much detail as I can.

We negotiated out of court (a summons was sent to me) and he says he would dismiss the lawsuit and send recipt of payment signed and stating debt has been satisfied in full, but I'm worried he won't hold his end of the bargain. The check, made over the phone, cleared.

I got a letter from the collection agency today about an account with cingular that I never had. It came to a total of $1,000. I don't really care about getting this guy because I know my chances are very slim. What can I do with Cingular. Can I change my ssn#? is there anything I can do at this point?

For example, some bills are due the first of the month, but you aren't penalized with a late fee until the 15th of the month.

I had just started a new job about 2 years ago and had to have emergency surgery to remove my gallbladder. I hadn't completed the 90-day waiting period to receive my health care benefits. I had to have it done! It has racked up over $10,000 for the anesthesia, hospital stay, meds...etc. It is now appearing on my credit score and affecting me badly...I can't buy a home or get a good rate on my auto loan...nothing. All I want to know is that if these collection agencies are allowed to put this on my credit score because it is something that I had no control over...IT HAD TO BE DONE. I am trying little by little to pay it down but overall they are considered negative accounts. Can I dispute this with the credit bureaus?? Anyone with any insight please help!

I am a student who signed up for one of those credit card offers that you receive in the mail (stupid decision...i know). Anyway, I needed to purchase books and supplies and now my bill has reached astronomical proportions that I simply cannot pay. I started missing payments and now am worried that my credit is destroyed. My question is whether there is a way for me to negotiate with the credit card company to figure out a payment I can actually afford. Also, is my credit now completely ruined? Can it be repaired or am I stuck with horrible credit for 7 years? Finally, I am trying to move in to an apartment or house after the semester ends. Will that be impossible now due to the mistakes I've made with this card? Someone please help because I honestly do not know much about credit. All I know is that I've made a HUGE mistake with this card and I just want to fix it.

She barely makes enough money to live. They are trying to force her to take a loan to pay the bill. What can she do besides declaring bankrupcy?

My quuestion is can I 'dispute' a charge off to have it removed from my credit report since all of the account have been closed? And do you have any other tips for inproving a bad credit score?

Are they listed because you were on the lease there? or because you had an account or credit card listed to that address?

I want to apply for an apt. but my last residence had a terrible landlord. I dont want to give him as a reference.. because he was very unfair and unkind. The residency is listed on my credit report. Can I say that I just stayed/subletted the place. and therefor can not use him as a reference??? Please Help!

I'm enlisting in the marine corps and go to boot camp for 13 weeks starting may 5th I won't be back till july so during that time I won't be making any payments till I get back where ill most likely pay them off. But anyway do you think the credit card companies will let me postpone payments till I get back. theres no way I can pay them in boot(no internet, phone etc.....) so I won't be able to do anything till july. I heard about the soldiers and sailors relief act but do you think they will just let me post pone the payments till then or what?

And I can't do direct withdrawal because the Marines makes u set up a acct through them and I'd have no way of knowing routing or anything like that. so ur thoughts?
