I had paid off debts years ago, but when I applied for mortgage pre-approval, 1 agency showed that I had never paid off the debt. The loan officer said "it just hasn't been updated."....What does that mean?

How do I get it updated?

I recently tried to get preapproved for a mortgage. Only 2 of the 3 agencies reported anything. Of the 2 that reported, one was high, the other was very low.

Because there were only 2, the mortgage co. had to take the LOWEST score. Is this right?

Why the difference between the 2?
How do I get all 3 scores around the same?
Don't all 3 have to have the same info?

and sending letters into us in order to reclaim them back. If customers misuse their account they will be charged a penalty, same if you go through a red light you are charged a penalty but you know not to do it again..! I think its totally irresponsible to encourage people to claim charges back as its sending the message ' that its ok to be financially irresponsible' and ' its ok to bounce cheques' because you get your penalty charges back..! Its about time that people took responsibility for their own actions!! Banks actually do want to help people save money and do business with its customers but cant help a customer if their account are crap. What does everybody else think..?
