I'd heard of it, but the site says that you can only build or rebuild your credit by signing up with Credit Builder. (Offered with the Elite or Preferred Level Eufora Prepaid MasterCard only.)

The annual fees don't make me happy... for the same fee as the standard prepaid card, you could get a secured credit card elsewhere that will help you build a credit history.

There just seem to be WAAAAY too many fees associated with this card, which is, in essence, just an expensive debit card.

Again, I'd suggest getting a secured credit card AND PAYING OFF IN FULL AND ON TIME to help build your credit history. You can check secured credit cards at www.bankrate.com. Also, try not to use more than 30% of the credit limit (which would be determined by your deposit) and read the fine print. Best of luck!

Prepaid credit cards do not extend you credit, therefore they will not help you build your credit. The fees associated with these cards are huge and I would avoid them all together.

If you are looking to build credit, there are very few cards that are worth your while. Avoid First Premier, Total, 660 Rewards. These cards have ridiculous fees.

While there are not any fees, avoid Capital One, they do not report your credit limit to the credit bureaus. So what happens is if you get a $500 limit and you use $400, your credit reports will show a $400 limit (the amount you have on your card) and not your $500 limit that your were given. This makes your credit score drop, because it looks like you are maxed out.

Check out the sites below for some good info on bad credit credit cards.

Also, when you do get a card, do not use more than 50% of your credit limit. This helps keep your credit score strong.

i never heard about Eufora Pre-Paid MasterCard.
Applying for a prepaid credit card is easy as there are no credit searches necessary, because the card providers are not offering you credit! The application is usually fairly quick and simple and in some cases the card issuers offer 100 per cent acceptance - you don't even need to be 18 with some companies.

Prepaid credit card uses Not only can a prepaid card enable customers who find it hard to get credit, but this type of card can help you take control of your finances, if you have found normal credit card interest rates too high and the balance offered too tempting. You can be confident that you will stick to your budget with a pre-paid card, as you are the one who sets it by deciding how much to top-up your card with!

Most prepaid credit cards can enable you to: No longer have to carry cash when shopping Use an ATM to withdraw money - at home and abroad Transfer funds - send money to other cardholders Shop on the internet with security Top up your mobile phone Have an additional prepaid credit card for family use - useful for a teenager for emergency use (usually 13 years plus for a named card holder)

I have never heard of Eufora Pre-Paid MasterCard. Pre-paid cards also do not report to credit bureaus. A good prepaid card I use in Greendot. They charge a a $9.95 activation fee and a $4.95 monthly fee and can be refilled in almost any CVS and most grocery stores.

If you want to rebuild your credit. You can get a secured card. This is where you put down a deposit and receive a credit card with a line of credit equal if not more than your deposit. Secured credit card companies also report monthly to major credit bureaus to help build your credit.

For a free consumer list of unsecured and secured credit cards to people with no to bad credit go to http://www.bad-credit-credit-card-for-people-with-bad-credit.info/
