Any banks can help you to do wire transfer, however it is expensive. You need to bear the wire cost (telephone charges).

Telegraphic Transfer in Foreign Currency payable overseas
Minimum of RM2.00 per telegraphic transfer for whatever TT amount plus cost of cable incurred

List of cable charges (abstracted from Alliance Bank website):
USD RM32.00
IDR, THB, PHP & BND RM13.50
SGD RM7.50
Other currencies RM25.00

You can use debit card to pay money online, however, not all debit card offered by Malaysian local banks can be used for online transaction.

You don't have to have income in order to apply for a debit card.

I know that one type of debit card issue by Alliance Bank can be used for online purchase. Find out the details from Alliance Bank.

Go into the bank and have the teller do the wire transfer. You'll need the routing and account numbers for the business you are going to wire to.

Wire transfers are VERY expensive; between $35 and $50 each.

See if your bank has a gift card in the form of a credit card (I forget what those are called) and use that instead. It will be much cheaper.

Telegraphic Transfer Maybank

A Wire transfer is best left for very large transactions due to the fees associated with them. I used it when I sold something for 15K on ebay and in that case a wire transfer will save a bundle compared to Paypal. This was also an international transaction where I would only accept a wire to eliminate any risk associated with a transaction. In most cases this would cost the buyer about $35.00 to send the wire and the seller about $10.00 to receive the wire. domestic rates would be less.

A bank transfer can done by any banks, enquire over the counter, just that the charges may vary, but it seems that Maybank has got this RM10 service charge going on, all banks will provide this service.

Besides this u ask if they accept paypal or not, or Western Union or Moneygram, both Western Union and Moneygram is available from CIMB and Maybank respectively.
