If your parents have listed you as an authorized user.
I suspect they did NOT or else you would not have to ask that question .
Otherwise it will be the same as any other ID theft criminal and felony charges could result .

You have to be authorized by the account holder to make purchases on any card they may have. If you're a student and you're wanting a credit card, there is a possibility that you could work out a plan with your parents where they buy a prepaid credit card for you to use, with a certain amount of money on there. Of course, once that's gone, it's gone forever. But it will be easier for you to use, that way.

Depends on the scenario. I never get my ID checked at some stores, and at others I always do, despite the fact that they know me.

You should be warned though that if you take the card without them knowing and charge on it, it will be considered fraud and even though they are your parents you can get into some big trouble.

In some stores, but in most they dont make a habit of letting people use a card if their name isnt on it.

Only if they've signed up a supplimentary card for you; otherwise no.
