I have come across the ads in yahoo and responded to one of the loans available. Later i realise that it is a lender from nigeria. After much talking with him, i decided to take up the loan...and i have send him a copy of my ID thru yahoo mail and also my bank account. Then i was browsing this page and i realise that i have make a grave mistake, i have also sign the "unic insurance promissory note", suppose to transfer the charges to him today.

what should i do now? can someone help me?

thanks

You know how credit card companys send you many offers in the mail? Well, what makes an offer good? And what should you look for? Anything that might come back later to haunt you?

ok, unfortunately this was done at an age where i would be able to obtain credit, question is, if it wasnt me who started this so called contract, is there a way where i could dispute it, either to pay a certain amount instead of paying for something that was done without my consent, and it being family, dont want charges all up in the mix........ does anyone have any supported info?? thank you for taking time in reading this.....

I'm 15, and I just bought a visa debit/prepaid card from HEB/netspend.com, and was told that in order to activate it, I was told that I needed to fax them my mom's social security card, my birth certificate, and my social security card. I told my mom that and she got mad and told me that is private information and a social security card should be kept to one's self. What do I tell her? I mean, it's visa isn't it? What do I say?

from calling me with promotional offers? I'm on the DO NOT CALL registry, so I don't receive other telemarketing calls, but I still get my own CC companies calling all the damn time with some 'wonderful service' they have to offer. I try not answering, but they'll call EVERY DAY till I finally give up, answer, and say NO.
Can I get them to stop? If so, what hoops do I have to jump through?

Three or four years back my new bank checks were stolen in route to my house and they were used by someone pretending to be me (and bouncing checks all over the state). I swore I got a police report when this occurred but upon recently checking up on the issue, I've found that perhaps I was mistaken and absentmindedly forgot to get a report filed. Did I screw myself on this one or would there be no problem in filing a report now?

I lost my wallet with credit cards a year or so ago. I cancelled all my cards and was also informed by my cc company to call equifax and report it will them.

I wish I never did this. I found my wallet in my work vehicle a few days later and informed equifax. I requested them to remove the flag they put on when I reported to them. It is still on there and I have to try to get it removed again

I actually had an arguement with a person from TransUnion today as they told me that this does not affect me at all. to that I say bllsh#t

I pay all my bills on time. I even got stiff by my ex and have to pay 225 every 2 weeks on loan and pay it all the time. I only make around 850 every 2 week so I know my credit is not a ptoblem

Anybody going though similiar problems.

My ex and I had a joint credit card in which we were both liable. She racked up a huge bill and then filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy. I understand that I can still be held liable. Now here is the question:

I understand I can not sue her for the money because she already filed bankruptcy. Can I sue her for screwing up my credit or for any other reason? After talking to her, she pretty much said "screw you, you're on your own." The creditors are being as nice as possible but they still want their money.

I need to be able to figure what the interest rate is when the loan amount, payment amount and terms are known. Does anyone know the way to build a formula in Excel for calculating this?

I am 25 and don't have much credit. I had to have a co-sign from my father to get this new car I'm about to get. Now, since he is a co-sign, does that mean that all the credit goes to him on my monthly payments? Or is there a way that I can gain credit myself? Since the loan is in his name and all, wouldn't me paying the monthly bill just benefit his credit and not apply to me at all?

I need to gain credit with my car payments. I need to find a way to do this.

Essentially I have like 8 Department store Credit Cards and 1 good Bank Credit Card. I hardly ever use the Department Store Credit Cards but use the bank credit card often. I get them because they tempt me with these 10% offers and I get em just to make large purchases and never use them again. I've never been late on payments and generally don't carry a balance over the next month. Do having these multiple credit cards affect or lower my credit score????

Heres the story.. Two years ago i was working full time and making good money. My brother was having financial problems. I took $5,000 of his debt and put it on my credit card so he could get his debts paid off and straighten out his credit. The agreement was that he would make the credit card payment and pay it off as soon as he could. Since then alot has changed. He spent a year in Kuwait in the Army and left it up to his wife to handle while he was gone. She gave me money here and there but not as much as I paid. Now that he is back he doesnt have a job and cant afford to pay me anything but i cant afford it either. I love my brother dearly and was only trying to help but am in a jam now because i lost my job and i cant afford to make the payments for him but its in my name so i have to pay it since he isnt. What would you suggest I do to get this mess cleared up?

I need to get my medicine with my debt card which I run like a credit card. I will not have money on it until Friday though. However, in the meantime my ear is bugging the crap out of me. Is there anyway for me to charge it without any money being on my card but not have to worry about going over? It gets put on there at 1:30 am tomorrow night/Friday morning.
