NO. After filing Chp 7 BKC. You have a legal stay on creditors. That means they can not pursue you. That means no collection calls, no this and that. but you or your attorney need to provide them with info so that they can close their accounts.

When your BKC is final and everything has been liquidated. It will still appear on your credit as an account that was liquidated through BKC for the next 7 years.

That is the law.
