I want to suppress my loan payment for a month they told me that overdraft is better than suppressing the payment . What is overdraft then?

I disputed things on my credit and I am not sure if the credit place took the right steps.

They got back to me on the 43rd day. They also did not send me an updated credit report (which I thought I was suppose to get)
There is still an item on my report which is a duplicate of something else that is on there, what should I do about that?

I dont know what actions to take, I tried calling them and I was on hold for 1hour and then some cranky woman answered the phone who didnt want to hear anything I had to say

Please help me with this

I just recieved notice in the mail about a credit card I had canceled over 10 years ago. It was a $500 credit card but they claim I now owe almost $4000. I looked on my credit report last month and that debt wasn't there. About a year ago it was on my credit report but when I refinanced my debt loan they said it had been taken off. When I checked my credit report last month it was still off. Now today I get a letter in the mail claiming I owe them money still. Can they put it back on my credit report after the statue of limitations has run out? In Missouri its 10 years for a credit card. I'm willing to pay them $500 for the origional credit card but I don't know where they have come up with this $4000. I'm slowly rebuilding my credit but if this goes on it I'm going to have to just give up and declare bankruptcy. I'm 29 so I'm still young enough to recover from it but don't want to file even though with this it puts my debt way over $10,000. (Capitol One was CC Company)

I do not have bad credit or anything but I owe a couple thousands on my credit card. I also have another bill which I owe like $2500. The problem is that their interest rates are crazy and high and I have like four or five years trying to pay it off and well I give payments on time and all but the amount doesn't seem to go down at all. I would like to like to get those to bills and make one. Like get a loan and hopefully having one bill instead of two will help pay those debts out. Please if you have any advice on these, share it because these bills are just a pain. Thank you for you help.

I have a state lien on my credit report for the amount of $2389. Only $1600 of that is principle. The rest is interest and court fees. Can a state lien stay on forever? 7 years is just around the corner.

If negitive items stay on your credit report for 7 years does that mean it completely disappears from your report after that 7 years? And if I have an outstanding bill thats 3-4 years old and I just paid it, do the seven years start when it was reported or does it go by the date of last activity?

I know in some states that if the company cashes it, that is final and there is nothing they can do about it. The reason I'm asking is because I got caught up in a subprime credit card that has all these fees. I know that legally I only have to pay for my charges which will probably show up as a settlement on my report. Any thoughts?
