I'm buying my first new car and I was wondering if anyone knows what a good (and possible) interest rate would be.

I know that it will probably be a little higher because I am a first time buyer and because I'm not using a co-signer.

My credit score is around 640. I'm 21, trying to finance a Toyota Yaris.

Currently they are telling me I'm going to get a 10% interest rate. Is this a good interest rate for me? Think I can get better? What should I be aiming for?

They want proof of payment. I would have to order the canceled check, which would cost me money or I would have to send a copy of my bank statement which Idefinitely would not be comfortable doing. Besides, it only gives the number of the check, not who it was sent to. I would like to know what are my obligations to that company and what can I tell them when they call me. Thank You

I ordered pizza and I paid by credit card. I have a receipt with a bunch of X's except the last four digits. I was about to throw out the receipt when my mom said she heard crooks can get your card info just by looking at a receipt with the last four digits. I know all about card swipers and all that other stuff, but can somebody grab a random receipt and decipher a credit card number just with a name and four digits?

Is it a high end credit card and an invite only thing like the Black American Express Card is?

When I was younger, I thought it was another form of a department store credit card.

I signed up for a Circuit City Chase Mastercard to purchase a laptop about 6 months ago and go 0% interest for a year. I just paid it all off and now want to cancel my credit card. Do I just cut it up or do I have to call the company? Does it hurt my credit score if I just cancel the card now that I'm done with it? I have another one that I want to keep. I just liked the Circuit City one because I could put the laptop on it. Any advice? Thanks! PS I'm a 22 year old. If that matters.

Was pondering that today...let's so Joe French public comes to the USA to work for a company. He needs to buy a home here for himself and his crumb crunchers. How does he get a loan? I would assume he has no credit history or employment history....what is used to qualify such individuals. By the way I am not the person was just pondering it today. Thanks in advance!
