My parents are willing to get me a credit card at 16. They trust me and i am responsible. I will also be paying the bills with my checking bank account. Can i get the mtvu credit card at age 16? My parents also think it will help me raise my credit history for the future.

you have to be 18 to enter into any legal contract. to get a card you have to sign a contract saying you'll pay the debt.
