I live in So Cal and the price to buy even a 1 bedroom in a run down neighborhood are outrageous. I make enough to pay the mortgage for a $550,000. home, but I need to have a 700 fico to be given a decent rate. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

A formal note was drawn up, and both parties signed. My SS# is not on this document. I have no assets that they can attach other than my home.

I am interested in getting some type of store card (example: walmart, old navy, target, best buy and others)

Are there certain stores that get your credit report from one bureau or another?

The reason I am asking is because my credit is not the best and transunion seems to have alot of bad things in my report and the other two dont?

Is there anything I can do or a way of knowing?

What is the best way to get out of debt? Is condolidation the real answer? I've really gotten myself in a mess. I have a decent job, but with raising three kids and EVERYTHING being so expensive, sometimes I have to charge groceries on my off week of pay day just to get by. I'm losing sleep over worrying about it all. I'm not charging "big" items, basically just things you need to live, eg. food, gas. Any good suggestions? I'm trying really hard, but nothing seems to help.

I did a dispute with experian and I got something deleted
Does that mean that the two other credit agencies need to take it off as well?
Or do they keep it on there?

I saw a question about this w/positive answers, but me and my hubby had no luck. We both had bankruptcy (before we were together), but had good jobs, and our only collection accts. were medical bills or credit cards. We have great cred. with our secured debts, but his score was 565 and mine was 594. We tried for over a year to find someone to finance us even a home less than 50k and had $5000 to pay down---no dice! Nowhere! Most companies wouldn't even give us the time of day because we had filed bankruptcy in previous years. If anyone knows of a miracle company out there please tell me!

Well, obviously I know WHAT affects it negativley -slow pay, no pay, being over your credit limit, etc. But, what I want to know is how do the 3 credit agencies ( TransUnion, Equifax, and ? can't think of the other one) put a point values up and/or down on things. For example - let's say you are late on paying your VISA card, by more than a month. So, they report as a "30 day past due" How does that affect your credit? Does that reporting cause your score to go down 5 points, 40 points, etc. ? Then, what action brings the score back up, and how many points at a time? Let's say I pay off the entire balance of a credit card, then close out that account... does that raise it up another 10 pionts, or as much as 50 pionts??? How long does it take for a bad reporting to "fall off " of your credit report. I know that each time a lender "pulls" your credit report, that in itself causes your score to drop. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who actually knows FACT regarding this-thanks

Hi,

I'm soon going to apply for a credit card, but my question is : I'll probably get an 18-22% apr, say i charge 300 to my credit card, how much would be added from a daily percentage rate?

My second question is will i still be building credit if i charge one day, and the next day I pay it off?

3. If i can still build credit like that, is it possible to charge one day and pay it off the next day?

sorry if these questions are dumb, or if i left out information, let me know if you need anything else.

Boost mobile is allowing a merchant company "QPass" to debit accounts without customer knowledge, yet Boost claims they don't do bussiness with "QPass, New Mot". This is occurring as an e-commerce puchase on prepaid Boost accounts. They claim also, that it is third party messaging. I have been Ripped Off twice. totaling $$19.98. I changed my mobile number and they still debited my account. I was told by Boost, "because the numbers were still linked." I suggest, who ever has Boost prepaid, regularly check your account activity at www.boostmobile.com. Boost also said "they won't refund accounts for third party charges." I have some contact information if any one is interested. The Boost representative I spoke with claims that Boost is taking legal action. I think it's Bull Crap!! Mean while Boost prepaid customers are being ripped off of their hard working earned dollars and can't get their money back. I'm going to the media, I hate people taking my money. Times are hard enough. email me

assets, other than the $5000 of equity of my house. If I just stop paying my credit cards, and wait out the statue of limitations, will the debt go away, regarding the credit cards? I live in the State of Ohio.

I can live with out the "just pay it" and "get a life" remarks. Please only helpful answers. I don't need to know if you think I'm terrible because I can't make my ends meet.

Obviously a large portion of the American population is in debt...I’m approaching my mid-twenties and the whole idea of owing credit card companies $$ and starting to save for a house (and I live in CA) is kind of stressing me out...(I'm paying for silly mistakes I made in college) oh well, eventually I will pay them off :) Have a wonderful Friday night!
