What happens when a prepaid Visa gift card goes over the amount...say from like a subscription or something?

I dunno but i worked for a pre-paid visa/mastercard company and the cards would not let you go over the amount ever.

You'll just need to pay for it than. Once you
have spent it, bring some extra cash or ask
if there is another offer of subscription that is
cheaper so you can use only the gift card.

you could cancel the subscribtion and the amount would have to be paid back into your visa card especially if the subscribtion was unsolicited.
