I am interested in getting some type of store card (example: walmart, old navy, target, best buy and others)

Are there certain stores that get your credit report from one bureau or another?

The reason I am asking is because my credit is not the best and transunion seems to have alot of bad things in my report and the other two dont?

Is there anything I can do or a way of knowing?

Everyone is wrong. Especially the person that said Transunion is used 99% of the time. Companies pull different reports based on their prefrences and where you live. A company can pull TU in New York and pull Equifax in TX.

Go to: http://creditboards.com/forums/index.php?autocom=creditpulls

You can search by CRA or state.

BTW.
Walmart card is junk and hard to get approved for. If you do get approved you get a low limit like $200. Best buy is also difficult. Target is the easiest of the 3. Message me if you have any questions.

Also sign up and search the forums. You will find a lot of useful info. Good Luck!!!

Work on your credit brfore you start applying for credit. Everything on your report dispute it even if it is yours. Tell them your reason for dispute is that the creditor informed you that it would be removed from your report. Some may fall off and some may not. You may qualify you a First Premiere or Tribute or Orchard credit card. The interest rates may be high and but tough it out until your score builds up. If you get those cards they may have 2 or 3 fees which will eat the credit up but before you use the card tell them you wont accept it unless they remove some of the fees and 9 times out of ten they would bite. After about 6 months of paying your bill on time and keeping your balance down your score will grow . Good Luck

You can call those companies and ask. What you should do is try to clear up the differences between your credit reports. If Trans Union is reporting something that is a lot different than the other two, there may be cause for concern. You should try to figure out why there is such a difference and straighten it out at the credit bureau level before applying for any new lines of credit.
