I was always on time with paying my bills and had perfect credit up until a year ago, I was laid off work and couldn't cope with the bills..my credit now is very poor and I'm finally settled again where i can start paying again but all my credit cards are on collections and i'm wondering how long would it take me to restore my credit back, I'm planning to consolidate them all in one and i'm going to be paying them off in about a few months but i'm really concerned with how long it'll take me to have my credit back to 729, right not is 451.

My Capital One card. What is my minimum payment that I must make monthly so I don't have to pay any late fees? Is my minimum payment at a fixed amount or does it increase the more money I owe?

This sounds simple, but it's my first time doing this and there are so many choices that it's hard. Have great credit but never had my own card. I travel a lot and am looking for something with miles, or grocery store credit, hotels, SOMETHING. Maybe a website or something that compares the different types, benefits, extras, etc. Suggestions?

Are you at your wits end trying to pay more than the minimum on your credit cards and in need of help paying for gas? Are you now worried about heating bills for this winter? Are you selling stuff to pay for groceries? sorry for 4 questions at once.

I think it means I won't get the promotional APR on online purchases, but I need to be sure as my business will require online purchases, and not getting the promo APR on those pretty flatly defeats the point. Thanks for input.

Have a bank of america credit card in my name and in my husbands name, my son also had the same name (has his own credit card with them). They send us a credit card in the mail, I called them verified with them who it was by SS...they said my son, gave it to him. He has charged 493.00 ( He has about 2000 available on his CC) come to find out this is not his account but mine, and they refuse to put this on his account. Any suggestions??? My son is saying these are his charges, he wants them transferred to his account. I have always heard bad things about bank of america I really believe it now! They told me if i turned in these as not mine (they are not) they would proscecute my son...can u belive this?

Ok... I was involved in a accident it was a hit and run. My car was completely totaled. I only had liability insurance but I also have Unisured Motorist coverage... Insurance said they wont pay for the car because I didnt have collision insurance but they pay for my medical bills, which sucks because when I bought the car the car company told me I only needed to get liability insurance on this car.... I have called the car company told them all this, gave them the my insurance info.... and told them I can pay them a little at a time for the car, now they are harrasing me for payments and right now I honestly dont have it. They have called my work 3 times AFTER i told them not to call my work because I cant recieve personal calls..... My question is how do I get them off my back for awhile, and is there anything I can do to make them stop harrassing me. Plus, I'm 4 months pregnant and stressed out enough!!!! ahhh!!!!

It always redirects to https and says cannot be found. I've tried

www.yourcardaccount.com
/SST_Consumer/Process
Login.do

the above three lines are really all on one line and it still redirects.
Talking to customer service they claim they have no problem.
I have never even been able to enroll because it redirects immediately to https.
Anyone solve this. Obviously SST Card Services does not want to hear about their problems. This is Washington Mutual credit card.

I can put down between $20,000 to $40,000 and would like to know what my score has to be to get a mortgage. I live in Texas (if this helps). My credit could be better and is mostly school loans. Does anyone know how to find out your credit score and what is needed?

We see it al the time on tv. You seem to be able to assign your cards to other people to use whereas we just can;t do that in the UK unless you have a joint card holder.. even then that person has to be over 18 years old.. doesn't that lead to more credit card fraud?

my cousin opened a bank account and i put my name on it too because i went with him (don't ask me why, i don't even remember why i did it).....anyway, he got a loan from the bank and i guess both of our names are on it because they use our account number....i never use this account and don't need it, so if i remove my name from the account will the loan still be on my credit report?
