True... but the interest is crazy high

Call around to local car lots and ask if they do their own financing. Most of these do not do credit checks.

What do you expect? No one is going to give you a loan without a credit check and then charge lower interest rates.

Some of the 'buy here pay here' used car lots are using an ignition interrupter to shut down the car if you don't make payments. That may be the lowest cost option.

Any one that doesn't check your credit will assume your credit is bad. That means the highest interest rates.
