I got a free credit report, I think it was freecreditreport.com, I could be wrong, The only gave me the report of 1 of 3 credit bureaus and said if I wanted the reports from all 3 which I guess could be different, than I needed to get that monthly plan but I was happy with just getting the one report. If you are denied for anything because of your credit I've heard you are supposed to get a free credit report.

i didn't subscribe to anything when i did mine. A lot of times you can get the report but you have to pay a few bucks to see your score.
If you really want to get away with seeing your credit report for free, call up a mortgage company and apply for a loan and act like you're buying a place and you want to get prequalified. They'll pull your credit and give you the report. It's a little dishonest to do that, but not illegal or anything.

Don't subscribe to this service.
Last year, Congress passed a law giving every adult 1 (one) free credit report a year. Go to this site:
www.annualcreditreport.com or call: 1-877-322-8228.
This other service is a rip-off.

Just say no when they try to sell you an extra.
Consumers can order their reports by calling toll-free 877-322-8228 or going to the web address below. I just got mine for free.
