I called customer service but they came up with some bullshit excuse that I didn't make the payment on time.

First of all, I made a payment on 6/05 to cover the bill due at the 10th. Then made another payment on 6/14 to cover the bill for the upcoming bill since I was going on vacation to Mexico...now that I'm back I see this late payment...what should I do what are my rights?

basically i have become over my head in bills and am in dire need of a vehical. 2 problems:

1. i have little or no credit (depends on who checks it)
2. I have little money for down payments or even to pay my bills.

Without credit, it i'm having a difficult time getting a vehical cuz i don't qualify for any lagitamite loans. And i need to somehow consolidate my bills. if i can do one or the other, i can save my self, but i need suggestions. my one friend suggested a Credit Union might help me get a loan for a vehicle. if not, i was thinking debt consolidation anyway.

Can someone help?

The only thing I have is the name. All I could find on line was a Credit Union by that name. I am assuming it is a credit card company.

When I bought my house and I went to get my loan from a mortgage company, the lender ran my credit 22 TIMES!!!! Every time you run someones credit it takes away points, so I went from a really good score to a horrible one. WHAT SHOULD I DO???? I know its illegal. Do I sue or do I just call them and ask for a settlement. What options do I have?????

I have been getting a number of loan offers at 7.99% lately, do you think it is a good idea to take one of these to consolidate my credit card bills?

I'm finally down to one credit card with a balance of about $500. I know that may not seem like much, but I cant seem to pay this one down because of the high interest. I haven't received any advertisements lately in the mail for other cards that offer lower interest rates on balance transfers. Anyone have any suggestions as to what I cant do to end my debt? I have a part time job, but I can't handle any more hours with my school load. All help will be greatly appreciated.

I've seen it on TV once in a while but I don't remember what company it was for. (It said it would give you your credit report for free.) Has anyone seen something like that and, if so, what company was it?
