Since I go back to school, I don't take any loans except for student loan which doesn't require credit report. I read a recently article on WSJ on last Saturday about ID theft. It said you can pay a fee (about $10) to get a freeze shut down access to your credit report, meaning no new credit lines can be opened unless you OK it by requesting again. But it doesn't provide any website or phone number to make that happens . Any thought??

I get a Social Security pension, a small Federal pension, which my health and life insurance come out of, and a very small Union pension, less than a 100$. If I stop paying my Credit Cards can they take any of my pensions? Had some problems, getting harder to pay even the minimum. I've heard YES and NO. I know it will kill my credit but what to do? I applied for a home equity loan and was flat out denied. I looked up my credit rating on the internet and I am right between 710 and 720. I get credit card offers a lot and I have no debt other than my car payment. I own my own home. It has no loans against it. It was given to me by my dad about 10 years ago. What is the problem with a home equity line of credit for me?
I have a checking account with this bank x 10 years. I keep most of my savings in a credit union account.

I have been dealing with them for the past 2 months and so far so good. I have a silver card by them. I pay my bill in full online in a week advance from the due date in fact i am going to pay part of it 2 weeks ahead. How long does it take 2 have them lower your APR,which is 15.85%? Also how long does it normally take for them to increase ur limit mines is $300.00 as of right now. Lastly, has anybody had any disputes with this company?
