If it has not been long since Bk, go contact places like Beneficial, American General, etc., tell them up front about the bankruptcy and your score BEFORE you let them pull credit. Do you own your own home? As a last resort, you could do an equity loan on your home to get the cash you need.

Just because you bankrupted doesn't mean you can't get credit cards, loans, etc. if you like 20-24% interest.
