First I want to know if i get a credit card of a high APR % around 30 %. And I buy something with that card.around 500 bucks.
I pay fully on time. Do I get charged any interest rates? or i Just gotta 500 bucks.
Second of all does the score increase differently if i got a card with high interest rate and pay on time or a card with low
interest rate and pay on time? Third of all, if my debt to income ratio is bad but i pay the bill on time, do i get decrease in score any defaul on interest rates? Fourth of all, after if i get default on the interest rate and it go from 8 percent to 30 percent, I dont
get charged 30 percent unless I don't fully pay the debt each billing cycle rite?

I turned 18 about six months ago, and I absolutely refuse to get a credit card. Even the MOST responsible people I know have gotten themselves into a bind with credit card debt, and I don't want to fall into the same trap. I was told that having a contract with my cell phone provider would build up a small amount of credit, and I was wondering what else could do this?

I owe a good bit on credit cards I had before I was disabled. I am now unable to pay them. My social security barely pays the bills. I am being threatened and they are calling my parents, whom I haven't lived with in 4 years. Can I be sued and my check taken away for this? I can't afford bankruptcy.

Put this into one sentence.

Credit Repair Scams

Credit repair scams offer to erase accurate negative information from your credit file so you can qualify for a credit card, auto loan, home mortgage, or a job.

The scam: The scam artists who promote these services can't deliver. Only time, a deliberate effort, and a personal debt repayment plan will improve your credit. The companies that advertise credit repair services appeal to consumers with poor credit histories. Not only can't they provide you with a clean credit record, but they also may be encouraging you to violate federal law. If you follow their advice by lying on a loan or credit application, misrepresenting your Social Security number, or getting an Employer Identification Number from the Internal Revenue Service under false pretenses, you will be committing fraud.

I have 2 credit cards on my credit report that I've never used. I've heard that the less credit you have avaible the higher your score will be (less cards/credit to max out on). But I've also heard that if you close accounts it lowers your score. Should I close them?

I have bad credit.... mostly from overdue bills or past due bills. How do I straighten that all out without using one of those credit counseling places? Any help would be great.

I am looking for a new apartment.
I was told by my friend that when apartments run my credit, it lowers my credit score. I don't think it really makes sense because they are just checking if I qualify or not.
But is it true??? Could someone tell me?

I have some credit card debt that went to a collection agency and I don't have the money to pay at this time. They know this too.Their settlement options were outrageous and the representative handling the case was extremely unprofessional and rude, and threatening. Now they are saying that it is leaving their office and to "be prepared for what happens next." What does all this mean?
