Actually, it depends on your state. If you do a search for "statute of limitations by state", it will let you know what the limits are in your state. Many states have limits of only 4 or 5 years.

Regardless, it will drop off of your credit report after 7 years from the date of last activity.

Keep in mind that any legal information may need to be confirmed by a qualified attorney, of which I am not. Hope this helps.

Geez! Come on you guys! If you don't know the answer them don't waste your time responding!

You obviously don't even read past answers here either, as I've posted this information dozens of times!

See the link below, is goes into what the Statute of Limitations is and other issues. Each state has a differant SOL, so you need to check the chart. It can range from 4-15 years, but most credit card debts are about 6 years.

First there is not any money of value to pay any debt off. All you may want to do is discharge the debt. next, to ascertain that a freelance to be valid it calls for 2(2) signatures no longer only one and the different a stamp of a signature. that's fraud as an company won't be able to signal any files its self. try to be the holder in due procedure your signiture and strawman call.

There is none. They can harass you till the day you die......Then harass your family. The limit is on how long they can take it to court. I believe that is 7 years. Hope this helps.
