I am trying to get my first credit card, but I just got denied and they said my score was to high. Does this mean I am to much of a risk, for an unpaid bill or something? Any details anyone can share with me and any help that can be given would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

I am on the US Bank website setting up my first checking and savings accounts. I want a check card, should I get one and is there any drawback if I get a card that rewards a orginization. Does that cost me anymore money? Any other suggestions, I am trying to save mostly for college.

Remarried on the rebound ended up in divorce and it was just ended annulled type thing, but legal divorce however no bills were addressed. Whatever it is, what it is not going there about divorce just over and done.
But there were bills and it has been over 5 years for most.
There was an auto repossession that shows negotiated to 900 owed just and late. It had been a new car sold 12,000 short of bill. on the credit report understand.
There was a charge card for 3000. I never hear from them.
A celular phone plan that was bogus but anyways.
and a dental bill. They still send threatening letters but that is all I never hear from the others.
Don't tell me to pay them on my wages that is just impossible. I don't have enough for groceries or car repairs let alone past debt created by the ex on my name.
I am NOT filing bankruptcy. Hubby number one did that on me. It has been 8 years and credit companies still site this as excuse for not giving me a credit card for auto tire

I have 6 credit card all, 3 of which I owe about 9k on each. Are there any companies which will allow me to transfer such a high blanace so I can stop paying such high interest. I applied for a Tesco card and they told me my borrowing potential was at its maximum.

I dont want to apply and get declined for too many as this will affect my credit rating.

I just need one card so I can then switch all my blances around to benefit from the 0% interest on balance tranfers.

did you feel that you were treated fairly, like others that had filed with one? also did you have to pay anything back, and if so how much? Do you think you would have come out better filing through an attorney and spending that extra money, or were you satisfied???I am definately going to file, just need some details!!!!!

My mom and my fiance need the cheapest way to file bankruptcy. They both qualify (done consults with lawyer who quoted them at almost $2,000 to file). I can use all the help I can. Info on how to get what can be filed against, how to file (by lawyer CHEAP/FREE or doing it yourself), how to get the account info on everything that needs to be filed against (FREE PLEASE). My mom is without a job currently (looking for a new job) and my fiance and I struggle paycheck to paycheck with our baby girl. We need something that is going to get them out from underneath a WHOLE LOT of debt the quickest. We have no money.

THanks,
Belinda

Now that I know that appartment complexes are called to check to see if someone lives there. How about in the case of houses? The question is about a 16 year old who shouldn't have any credit, but lives in a house with her mom for now. We are both getting emancipated and I was wondering how they do things.

I keep getting a bill and even calls about an unpaid credit card bill. I keep asking what the purchase was for but they won't tell me. Part of the problem is I can't understand some of the customer service reps. Their accents are so heavy I give up and hang up. I even tried going to the store but they no longer have a customer service rep in the store. They directed me to the telephone! When I asked for a purchase history because I said I didn't think I had made the purchase, they told me I would have to pay for it.

Now what? I'm not paying them to tell me what they are charging me for.
