Now that I know that appartment complexes are called to check to see if someone lives there. How about in the case of houses? The question is about a 16 year old who shouldn't have any credit, but lives in a house with her mom for now. We are both getting emancipated and I was wondering how they do things.

Your question is confusing.

If it has to do with apt vs. house, it doesn't matter where you live, in an apartment or a house, it's all the same. If you have any record of any bills going in your name to any address - it's documented to the address you give the creditor.

I had some stuff sent to a mailbox etc kind of place.. that address was even on my credit report.

If you have a social security number, you more than likely have a credit report.
