Do you live in a Senior Citizen neighborhood? If you do, what are your thoughts? Do you like it? If you dont, do you live in a town that is full of them?

I have an interview tomorrow morning and I am really feeling under the weather. They are hiring a group of people and I am pretty sure that more interview dates are available for next week. Is there any way that I can gracefully request a change of date for my interview without appearing irresponsible? if i go I know that Ii will not be 100% since I am sick. Thanks!

Can anyone direct me to a website that can shed some light on this? My b/f works in autobody - "flat rate". The boss says he has authority to make these guys work 7am-7pm M-Saturday and maybe Sunday too! NO incentives to work all this overtime. NO bonus, no bonus time off, or any other incentives. Salaried employees get a yearly income that has nothing to do with the hours they work. Hourly rates get time and 1/2 for any hours worked past 40, double time on Sundays. Flat rate is paid by the job order. Each car has an approved amt of hours from each insurance company so if the car pays 36 hours but he gets it done in 21 hrs he's still paid 36 hrs for it. He did a job that only paid 16 hrs and it took 29 hrs to do it, so it all works out in the end but to add all this MANDATORY over time with NO incentives is crazy! He cleared 155 hours in two weeks just working his normal 40 hours a week. If he gets more than 200 hours the taxes are too much, he brings home LESS! What to do?

Heres how it would work:

1 . The £1 per week would be deducted from all our salaries in your PAYE system.

2. A separate Company would be set up to which all the revenue will be paid to ensure no Government is involved in the running.

3. The pilot scheme would run for 10 years.

4. All children, retired, sick people, unemployed, job seekers are exempt

5. It would not matter if you have a car and say you do use the transport system just look at the size of car parks at stations.
It is there for all to use and there would be nothing to pay at the time you use.

6. All visitors and holiday makers to the UK can use it and they would go back to thier respective countries and tell what a magnificent system we operate.

7 It would be designed to get people off the roads and save this planet.

8. It would take a bit of getting use to for the the public at first but like all things they would begin to admire the system

9. All fuel use would be subsidised.

I've joined WLG for 1 week and I paid $355 to join the company, the GEL (Global Equity Lending) and some online loans courses. I still doubt about how this system works. My up line person said I have to recruit more people to my team, look for loans and close it to make money. Until now, I see I do not learn anything from them except some courses online. They always say I should recruit more people while I do not know anything. How can I recruit my relations when I do not know what to teach them? Until now, I see the company just want to take more money from employees rather than teach them how to make money. If anyone have experiences about this company, please reply me honestly as you can.
Thank you.

I am a lawyer, and hate it, can't think of a thing I'd like to do with my life except be a waitress in a diner on Rt. 66.

Over the past 5 years I have been a civil lawyer, a public defender, a prosecutor, and an environmental attorney. I hate it all!

However, I have 90,000 in student loans, 10 in cc debt, 12 personal loan, and 20+ in a car. (all adds up to atleast 1300/month)

Bankruptcy doesn't really solve anything since the changed the laws, and there are no sugar-daddies on the horizon.

I love people, to help people, to make people happy, to be outdoors, to take pictures, to talk endlessly, I am extra-ordinarily intelligent, but a total ditz, I am pretty, though a bit to heavy to be a stripper, I am no good at teaching, I am single, w/o children, I have no connections to anywhere, so I could in theory move anywhere, except that they must allow my dogs.

I am looking for a creative solution, something that will fulfill me but let me pay my bills.

Any suggestions?

I have a vague assumption, but would like your input. To date, I can't say that I've been promoted, etc.. in past jobs (not gainfully employed at the moment), and am wondering what are the "winning" characteristics exhibited by successful employees who always get raises and are not even considered during mass company layoffs. Thanks.

I've gained some weight .. not too bad.. but enough that I can't fit into my good suits .. well, really the pants.. and currently I'm in between jobs.. right now I'm surviving paying bills, etc.. if I get a call for a job interview, would it be okay to wear the above to it? I was considering putting off my job hunt till I shed the unnecesary pounds and could fit again into my suits. I definitely can't afford to buy a whole new bigger one. I appreciate your opinion on this.. I'm concerned that the wardrobe I wear on a potential interview day would affect my chances of clinching a job, which I truly need. Thanks.
