The offer was probably made being contingent that you pass the drug screen. A company cannot make anyone take a drug test unless a contingency offer is made.

Yes! Most applications have a disclaimer on them saying subject to employee passing a drug screening or something to that effect. Employers dont want druggies working for them.

If your company has a drug free workplace policy, and you signed it upon starting employment wtih the company and/or when the policy was implemented into the company....yes.
Most companies will offer you some sort of rehab or counseling before firing you.
