Recently got a credit card even though i'm unemployed, when filling out the form I put I was in employed and earning a certain salary, now my credit company has frozen my account and are asking for my employment details. I realise it was a stupid thing to do, but im very worried now, what are my options? - can I transfer the balance I owe from that credit card even though the account is frozen?

I am quite young and never really thought what I was doing is that bad, as I hope to find a job very soon.

Am I in big trouble??

Do you think working for U.S. Steel as a management trainee in a steel mill is a good job for a recent college graduate with a degree in logistics/operations???...salary starts at 50 k in gary, indiana (i'd live near chicago in wrigleyville or lincoln parkto be near the nightlife). they would help pay for most of my mba after a year or so. do u think this is a good company to work for???

Upon day 4 of my job, he commented on how he didn't think it was fair that I should make as much as him. (nevermind that we are both new hires, with the same job title, but he's with a degree in physics and I held a degree in engineering.) He constantly annoys everyone about how great he is (even the boss), gets pulled aside many times to be scolded by, but doesn't feel any shame at all. What gives? He leaves a favorable impression at meetings because he is so loud and confident by his stupid ideas... How the hell does he do this? I'm beyond flustered now.

Okay, right now I am working for McDonalds supply chain, basically tracking and tracing carriers and their trucks across the country and making sure everything runs smooth making 35,000 in Pittsburgh, my home town. I'm living at home and getting home cooked meals, laundry done for me, all my friends are here, and it's my comfort zone. I recently got offered a job with u.s. steel in gary, indiana (near Chicago) being a production foreman in training making 50 k a year. I was thinking about living near Wrigley field in Chicago. Anyways, the McDonalds job is an office job in front of a computer where I can surf the web for like three hours a day and its real easy going. But the u.s. steel job is in the mill where i would be supervising union workers and getting bitched at alot by upper management. U.S. steel would also pay for an MBA degree after a year which would be HUGEEE. Which job would you take???????

I am a US citizen taking online college classes and am looking for a job that would allow me to move around overseas, but would still allow me access to the internet on a regular basis in order to continue my education. Any ideas of a good job? Sadly I only speak english, and i know that doesnt help. Doesn't have to pay well, just enough to put food on the table... and i guess enough to buy a table to put food on...

I am currently working for a Temp agency, and with a little research I discovered that the company that I'm contracted to work for would pay me 22% more if I were a direct employee!!
Isn't that ridiculous!
I understand that these temp/staffing agencies have to make money, but this is HIGHWAY ROBBERY!
After they find you the job, their work is DONE, why should they continue to get paid, months after they find you a job? They're getting more than what Uncle Sam is getting out of my paycheck!
Don't you think they should pass a law or something limiting their cut?

I left a company that I had been with for 4 years for what I thought was a better opportunity (promised better pay and lots of room for growth). I soon realized that not only were there strings to some of the pay scale (and yes, I had received a contract in writing prior to leaving my old job) but that my job discription was very different from what I was told during my interviews. Bottom line: I changed jobs and I have now been working for another company for the past 6 months and I want to do my resume and look at getting out of the current industry I have been in (all the jobs I have held within the last 5 years have been in the same industry)

...my question is: Do I include this job that I was at for only 4 months? Yes, I will include it on my written application, but do I need to put it on my professional resume?

Would you be interested in working with a company that has been listed with the Better Business Bureau for 21 Years now and is also registered with the Direct Selling Association as a Single Level Marketing Company? If So, visit my profile to learn a little about what I do and follow the link if interested. Thank you for your time. Wish I could provide more info herer but that would be considered spam and advertisement and I do not wish to get deleted. Have a great day!

Okay, not enough room up above. But I went through with school because I had went to far in the program to quit. I think I really lacked the confidence and practical skills to be a nurse and I just didn't really like it. As I get older, I wish I did like it, I'm tired of the jobs I have been working that have no future. Also, I've considered going to pharmacy school. I've been doing pharmacy technician translation at a mail order pharmacy for quite some time and I love learning about drugs. The only problem is I don't know how I would afford Pharmacy School, I would have to go in debt even more with student loans....and I don't want to move back in w/ my parents (I'm 24 and moved out of state) any advice? Should I try nursing again with a refresher course or Pharmacy School?
