Be proud to work for a company that is ruining the American economy. I could go on all day about this but will use just one example. Rubbermaid and Wal*mart had done business forever, but because Rubbermaid would not move to China so that they could sell to Wal*mart for the same prices that cheap Sterlite crap does, they cut down the Rubbermaid from one side of one full Ilse to a 12 foot section. Rubbermaid was driven into bankruptcy and nearly out of business. Real good move for the economy, even though Rubbermaid was a good seller at it's made in the USA price. Remember Wal*mart's "Buy American" slogans and hype? It was a bunch of BS. aside from food, 10%,if that of "patriotic" Wal*Mart's product comes from the USA.
After driving out most of the Fabrics and Crafts competition in the North East, Wal*Mart is now doing away with these departments. They also did away with law away. That really helps the customer they claim to care so much about. People with money don't shop at Wal*Mart.
I hope for your sake you are either a student, close to retirement or want to go into management. Otherwise, you will find yourself out of a job down the road. When you make too much money for your years of loyal service, you become a liability to the almighty bottom line and they will find some stupid excuse to fire you under their convinient non-union rules which basically let them do whatever they please.
Wal*Mart is not the cheapest place, dispite what they have americans brain washed into. You can buy nessesities at Dollar General, without a 10% employee discount and still spend less. Who's fooling who.
Be proud to work for a company that has more BS and corruuption than the National Democratic Party.
Wake up and smell the coffee America.
(folgers is cheaper at dollar general)

The idea that Sam Walton had when he started Wal*Mart was fantastic. Working hard to get the lowest prices for normal families that live paycheck to paycheck...and having everything in one place from clothes to groceries (like a super center) making it easier for busy families to get what they need & want.
Wal*Mart used to be a great place to work....when we had managers that cared & worked to make it a team effort. I don't understand why people shop at Wal*Mart and bad mouth them at the same time....
And for those of you who think that only stupid people and grunts work at Wal*Mart, or Taco Bell, or Burger King....someone has to be there to get your lunch or dinner since you are too lazy to cook for yourself. And someone has to make sure that there is food for you to buy and clothes for you to wear....show some respect for the people who work...no matter what their job is. At least they aren't sitting at home on WELFARE. There is no shame in a honest day's work.

I beg of you! Please do not become another Samuel Robson Walton who has fall men like Thomas M. "Tom" Coughlin {A Protege of Samuel Moore Walton} and enlists Wal-Mart to any global organizations such as environmental movements, charities along with others too numerous to write. S Rob Walton is the master of disguising his addiction to power and wealth and the blood and life of his slave gosh darn it! I meant "employees" gee willakers I really mean associates. Wal-Mart has spies fiddle sticks I meant concerned associates surfing the web and keeping an eye on fellow associates of their own free will and if they are lucky enough they will be promoted.

The best thing about working for Wal-Mart is leaving and finding a real job. Unless you enter management you're just a grunt to those folks.

The obvious best things are prices, large variety of merchandise available and locations near almost everyone. The worst thing is the complete lack of customer service skills of most of the workers.
