Contact the citizens advice bureau and they will put you in touch with debt management who will help you deal with this and contact the company on your behalf. What you did could be considered as fraud and I'm not sure if they will take legal action against you but it does state in the small print they have the right to demand full payment of any amount due. Hope it doesnt come to that though and it might just be you have a black mark now against your credit rating which could affect you applying for credit later on. Hope it works out for you!

Well first of all there is a reason they ask for employment information, if you don't have a job you can't pay them back. My suggestion for you would be to go get a job, call the credit card company and tell them your new employment information, if they ask any questions just tell them that you were in between jobs before. If the account is frozen than you can do nothing but pay them back. There's no need to worry the worst they can do is reposesse the items that you purchased but they'll most likely send your case to a collections agency that will call your house four times a day until you pay them back. I hope this helps and next time, don't lie on a credit application.

I would tell them that the job i was hoping to get fell through, and that you are still looking for employment and hope to gain work soon. On a personal note, whilst what you did was wrong, the credit card company should have carried out the employment checks before issuing you with this card, just shows how greedy they are just to get someone else caught in the credit card trap!!Good luck and get this sorted, it wont go away by its self!

If your fine with bankrupty od it, thye cant force u to pay what u dont have. or you could not even get a lawyer and tell the judge u have no money u lost all u had including ur job or whatever. tell them u can take all clothes off in court drop ur pants dow them ur schlong and say this is all i have besides tehse clothes u want that. U could contact them and tell them u r willing to settle but they have to eliminate all interest accumulated. If you have the cash pay it then When in court if a jury is present instill in their hearts sympathy for you by telling them how th ehigh interets rates have forced u to no longer pay so has the economy. And taht the credit card company is sucking the bllod of u. and since the economy has been bad u thought it would rebound and u used the card aas a lifeline. Id rdrop my pants though sya here take everything ai have i got nohting but my third leg :D

OK sweet, the best thing to do now is be honest, and ask for help.
Contact the company, and explain to them what has happened, and that you will pay off the credit you have on the card.
You may need to ask parents/guardian/relatives to transfer the balance, or pay it off for you, and pay them back...
Just shows you how pathetic credit companies are.

You need to check here. http://www.cifas.org.uk/. You also need to get a credit report from experian. If it has a Cifas entry on it you have destroyed your credit rating, sorry. All you can do is phone them and offer to repay amount monthly with no interest or late charges being added.
